My Journey from SpaceX to Financial Coach

On the FIRE Drill podcast, Steph talks about her journey to financial independence, what it was like to build a villa in Greece, and how she fills her schedule with meaning and joy in “retirement.”

Coming up on her first anniversary of achieving financial independence and retiring from SpaceX (which, as Stephanie notes, was voted “most stressful company to work for” while she was there), Steph tells the FIRE drill host about the nerve-wracking process of funneling her savings to Greece to build a rental property. Taking the risk paid off - after retiring, she has time to prioritize activities that fill her life with joy.

Among these activities? Teaching barre, perfecting her homemade sourdough bread, reading obsessively, and most of all, starting her own business. Stephanie can talk about investing for five hours straight and still walk away feeling energized and full of life, not only because investing is her “bread and butter,” but because of how wonderful it feels to help women take control of their finances.
